MERLIN INFORMATION SERVICES OFFERS ONLINE SKIPTRACING SEMINARS
Technology saves time and travel costs

KALISPELL, MT--- March 21, 2006 – In response to overwhelming demand for personal appearances at industry tradeshows and conferences, Merlin Information Services has launched its newest service, an online training seminar titled “Effective Use of Public Record for Skiptracing”.

This online seminar, delivered in three one-hour segments, includes the same course materials used at tradeshows and industry events. Mike Dores, owner and founder of Merlin Information Services, personally teaches each course. The participants listen in on a conference call while watching the lecture on their own office’s computer screen. “It’s interactive,” says Dores. “A live moderator assists during each session to monitor customer questions. That way, we can focus in on the specific needs and interests of each participant…it’s not just a lecture, so each session is a little bit different. We limit our class size for that very reason.”

Increased travel costs and industry growth prompted Merlin to seek cost-effective alternatives to on-site training. “One of our most frequent questions has been, ‘When will you be presenting a seminar in my part of the country?’” said Dores. “With this online solution, investigators in even the most remote locations can attend a Merlin seminar from the comfort and convenience of their own offices.”

Merlin Information Services still plans to continue its presence at industry events and conferences. “Personal, face-to- face interaction is always valuable, and the relationship building which occurs at conferences cannot be replaced,” comments Dores. “However, these online seminars are proving to be a great alternative to those who we can’t reach in person. Besides,” he continues with a grin, “this way, the customer doesn’t have to deal with cold hotel conference rooms, uncomfortable seats, parking fees, and lukewarm continental breakfasts. They have complete control over their environment.”

Customer Response Positive

The first online seminars were delivered in February and received rave reviews from the participants. Edward Zemaitis of Overland Security Services said, “I was very happy with the results. I was able to participate in the seminar, ask questions when prompted and able to do so from the comfort of my own office. In that it was a scheduled event, I was able to plan for it, and take breaks to handle office business, etc. I consider this a very effective method of instruction.”

Keith Brown, Merlin’s CEO added, “We’re very excited about this opportunity to help investigators use online databases more effectively, and to upgrade their research skills. Every owner or manager who would like to save money and achieve better results should consider this training seminar. Mike is highly respected in the industry – his speaking engagements at tradeshows and conferences are almost always sold out.”
